The Carver 1850 has a patented “split frame” design, which allows the Motor Head Assembly to pivot from side to side independently from the Lower Frame. This allows the user to position the blade perfectly parallel to the Rails and Tile Cart. The end result of this technology is a saw that cuts with extreme precision to +/- .001” over a 19” rip cut!

The Tile Cart for the Carver 1850 is a work of art. It has been completely CNC machined from a solid piece of aluminum for unmatched quality, durability, and flatness. The Tile Cart has four machined stainless steel wheels with sealed bearings.
Cart Size: 12"L x 16"W

At the base of the Frame are four “legs” with Protector Pads on the bottom to lift the Frame out of the water in the Water Pan.
|
There are two independent and fully adjustable custom machined Backstops with adjustable stainless steel Rulers. This allows the user to adjust the Ruler from the edge of the blade, so when your Straight Guide is set to a certain measurement on the backstop, you will actually get that same measurement on the tile.

The Water Pan for the Carver 1850 measures 22” x 40” and is made from a tough 16GA steel and powder coated.
|
The Rails for the Carver 1850 are made from ½” x ½” solid steel and are securely fastened directly to the frame by three aluminum Rail Supports, one on each end of the Rail and one in the middle, which makes the Rails extremely rigid and true.
